BEHIND THE LEAVES
Only the Han, Dai, Bulang, Lahu, and Wa clans are authorized to meticulously cultivate Yunnan teas. They dedicate their lives to this craft, sometimes for as many as 20 generations. As the sole guardians of an artisanal expertise recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage in China, they carefully select the freshest and most delicate leaves through a patient ritual.
