L'ÉLAN
Part of Maison ANYA’s **signature collection**, this teapot reflects a philosophy of quiet refinement. It embodies the house’s spirit: calm, discerning, and timeless.
Its rounded form sits naturally in the hand. The fine spout ensures a smooth, steady pour — controlled, effortless.
Made from **pale blue glazed porcelain**, it features a soft, matte surface that catches the light with subtlety.
This particular hue — applied as a glaze after firing — draws on the long heritage of Chinese ceramic art.
During the **Song, Yuan, and Qing dynasties**, light celadon blues were favored for their association with **elegance, restraint, and contemplative beauty**.
Etched into the surface is a **lotus flower**, its lines hand-painted and its center dotted with **raised detailing** that echoes the natural structure of the lotus pistil. No two are exactly alike — each bears the quiet trace of the artisan’s hand.
**The Lotus, Rooted and Rising**
In Chinese tradition, the lotus symbolizes **purity rising from the murky depths**.
It grows through still water and blooms untouched at the surface. It’s a symbol of **inner strength**, **clarity**, and **grace preserved through challenge**.
This teapot carries that meaning — not as decoration, but as intention.
**A simple, grounded piece** crafted for quiet rituals and lasting use.
Tax included.
