PEAU DE FEU

Entirely shaped by hand, without molds, this teacup is born from a mineral-rich clay, naturally laden with iron oxides. When placed in a wood-fired kiln at more than 1300 °C, the clay meets ash, flame, and oxygen in an unpredictable dialogue. From this alchemy emerges a rare iridescence, golden, coppery, ever-shifting, not applied as glaze, but revealed by fire itself.

The process is demanding, governed by time and chance. Only a handful of pieces survive the intensity of the kiln; fewer still reveal the luminous surface patterns that mark the final selection. Each cup carries its own constellation of traces, never to be repeated.

Peau de Feu is more than a vessel: it is matter transformed by risk, patience, and the invisible logic of fire.

Each piece is crafted in the atelier and dispatched within 7–10 days.
